AURORE zither – diatonic model -

1st contact with strings.      

Education model created for musical raise. This instrument is composed of two diatonic scales in C M (from C 3 to C 5). The 15 strings can be tuned in D or on pentatonic scales.

The wonderful sound of his new zither has been obtained with a special shape studied  from 3 exponential curves, in correlation with parallel acoustic decompression,
(second sound hole).

Those new instruments have been especially created for musical education, they are very simple, strong, and the tuning very stable.
 
The belt is made in steamed curved oak tree, the harmony table is composed of 3 crossed sheets of 1 mm of pine tree. The polyester glaze is  a « food » varnish. The safety of the kids zither players has been studied in all aspect of manufacturing and playing.

This book includes a selection of original melodies composed for AURORE diatonic zither  The accompaniments of those melodies are recorded on a C.D offered with each book.

Logical continuation of diatonic model, this alto chromatic zither allows to study easily all scales. The place of the pins permits instantaneously to see the place of sharp and flats notes.

With two chromatic scales tuned in G, this instrument can be used to play all types of melodies, and to begin study the elementary rules of harmony. 

It includes 25 strings, from G2 to C4.

The sound quality of this instrument has been obtained, like in diatonic models, with the new combination of 3 exponential curves, in correlation with parallel acoustic decompression (second hole).

The chords strings are perfectly separated, for playing all types of accompaniments in ascending  and descending arpeggios.

The 6 chords situated in order of ascending fifth (F M, C M, G M, D m A m E 7 permit the accompaniments easy of any melody in C Major or A minor.

The melody strings of two colours (from G2 to C 5 ), placed on two levels, permits a immediate choice of the right note. (Just notes are up, the sharps and flats notes are down).

The 12 minor chords can be  instantaneously tuned in Major with  modulators situated on harmony table.

They are placed in ascending fifth order (A flat m, E flat m, B flat m, F m, C m, G m, D m, A m, E m, B m, F sharp m, C sharp m).

The choice of the right chords is done without delay, and very easily, in all minor or Major scales.
